Welcoming New Team Members

 Noman Farid - left

Noman joined OSL at the end of September as Senior Process Engineer. A Chartered Engineer and member of IChemE, he has eighteen years’ experience in global multinational chemical process companies.

Noman has a proven track record and skills in plant design and project management, Hazop study leadership, manufacturing excellence, quality control, regulatory compliance, technology selection and technology transfer liaison. Having worked on a wide range of oil and gas projects, as well as in the chemical industry (polyester fibre), he has performed safety reviews and undertaken design reviews.

Anand Shah - centre

Process Engineer Anand joined us in July and brought with him over eight years’ experience.

A Member of IChemE, he has worked in Process and Utilities, from conceptual to detailed design for refineries and petrochemical plants. His work has also included gas processing, such as dehydration, condensate stabilisation, gas compression, gas storage and sulphur recovery, fine chemicals, upstream oil and gas, offshore platforms, LNG and LPG Plants.

Sermsak(Sam) Manalertsakul - right

Sam is our Associate Process Engineer, having joined the team in November 2011.

With a degree in Chemical Engineering and an MSc in Refinery Design and Operation from the University of Manchester, he is an Associate Member of the IChemE with five years’ practical experience of engineering work in the Far East.
