Mechanical Engineer 40-week placement

OSL Consulting Engineers are looking to recruit a Mechanical Engineering student for a 40-week salaried placement. This placement would suit a student looking to secure their year out in industry for 2015/2016. The successful student will join our specialist engineering team in Hull to work on a variety of gas and oil projects in September 2015.

Founded in 2005, OSL is a well-established and respected independent multi-disciplined gas and oil engineering and design consultancy. Specialising in the provision of project management, engineering and design services. We are the leading authority in the design and optimisation of gas compression systems both on and offshore. Our Mechanical Engineers provide efficient solutions to the development of processes and products, ranging from small component designs to extremely large plant design.

Our specialty is front-end engineering and the provision of innovative solutions for Gas and Oil Processing, Transport and Storage – both onshore, offshore and subsea. OSL has extensive experience in the energy sector, including environmentally friendly technologies such as carbon capture, bio-fuel and biogas. On your placement you will work with a specialist team, gaining exposure to various stages of a project which may include initial feasibility study through to design, installation and final commissioning. 

This is an exciting opportunity to gain work experience within a busy consultancy whose envious client list includes many major and independent energy companies. You could work with our highly skilled team gaining exposure to our smarter thinking, quality, timeliness and cost effective delivery.
