A Double Celebration

We pride ourselves on attracting clever engineering minds from near and far, be it raw graduates from UK Universities or experienced engineers from across the globe. That’s why recognised training schemes and compliance audits are so essential to the way we work.

We are therefore delighted to share the news that OSL’s involvement with the Institute of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) Accredited Company Training Scheme (ACTS) has been confirmed for a further three years.

ACTS is the international IChemE benchmark for company training and being accredited means that OSL has demonstrated that we meet the Institute’s international standard, providing optimum training opportunities and support for new graduates seeking Chartered Chemical Engineer status.

This is twinned with the recent validation of our adherence to ISO 9001:2008 standards. Having been accredited in March 2011, OSL undergoes an annual audit by ACS Registrars to check our Quality Management System for any non-compliances in our procedures. This week our assessor visited the offices for the annual audit and made the following observation: "It is clear from the findings of this audit that the QMS is an integral part of the services provided by OSL and that there is a commitment to its continual improvement."

The OSL team is thrilled with these recent outcomes and takes great pride in knowing that our ongoing work is not only of the highest standard, but will benefit the engineers of the coming generation.
