S80P submarine. Design and supply of H2 and CO catalytic reactors
Design and supply of a catalytic reactor system for the elimination of hydrogen and carbon monoxide in the atmosphere, to be installed in the S-80 series submarines (initially in the S-83 and S-84 units, which will be equipped with the AIP system as soon as they are delivered to the Navy). These gases are part of the hydrogen generation process in the bioethanol reformer of the AIP system. In view of the possibility of leakage of these toxic gases, a reactor has been designed to filter the breathable air from that section of the submarine.
OSL Iberia's scope includes the complete design of the equipment, calculations and management of the manufacturing of the equipment by a specialized company, as well as the supply of the catalytic element.
