Conceptual design of an LNG regasification barge that would be connected and permanently moored to an existing FSU, converting the facility into an FSRU.

The design included considerable advantages such as transportable regasification unit to feed local gas infrastructure, reduced flow rates and volumes, deployment flexibility, lower cost, linkage to an FSU with volume flexibility, availability for small and micro-scale demands.
