FEED FLSO & LNG Terminal in Lavaca Bay (USA)

The Lavaca Bay LNG project was designed to provide a floating liquefaction, storage and offloading vessel (FLSO) and associated land-based terminal facilities to enable the processing, liquefaction and export of liquefied natural gas via liquefied natural gas carriers (LNGCs). This permanently moored FLSO included multiple connections to the South Texas onshore natural gas grid.

The study included mechanical and process design, piping design, pipe feed system design, compression system, electrical, instrumentation and control system, HAZOP, cost estimation, utility schedule and service design.
